Master-Trol Electronic Water Management System - Controls, Monitors, Protects Print E-mail

ACORN ENGINEERING COMPANY announces an updated software interface for Master-Trol's Electronic Water Management Software, a system that controls valve usage and limits use of plumbing fixtures. The updated software features greater ease-of-use, providing real-time information about toilet, faucet, and shower activity, and detailed reports on water consumption.
Master-Trol regulates, monitors, and provides complete control over all plumbing fixtures in a facility. Since its development in 1991, Master-Trol has been used to address cell flooding and maintenance issues. With Master-Trol, each valve in every fixture is controlled via a network of computers to monitor or restrict use. It enables the use to set the number of flushes for instance, or specify when and for how long a water faucet or shower is to remain active. Floods are thus eliminated, along with unexpected disruptions and windows of opportunity for unexpected incidences that can tax a facility’s staff and decimate a budget.

  • Monitor up to 3,072 vavles per system
  • simultaneously from a remote computer or network
  • Enable or disable multiple water valves
  • Increase or decrease metering times
  • Increase or decrease lockout times
  • Minute by minute reports of valve status and activities
  • Real time reporting of water use and reduction

Master-Trol is also a proven tool in reducing inmate water usage and improving the sustainability of a facility. Master-Trol limits the number of flushes and monitors water usage by reports, graphs, and charts, allowing for calculated water savings. This ultimately leads to a reduction in overall water usage in correctional facilities and savings in utility costs.

  • Saves water by regulating  the amount used via reports, graphs and charts
  • Minute by minute reports of users activities on the system
  • Easy navigation with detailed location descriptions and search
  • Real time reporting of usage time and valve status
  • Use of Master-Trol can contribute to LEED Points
