This option is for the supplies to be connected above the shower on the shower of the wall. This option is often combined with -SC (supply cover) to conceal the plumbing.
This option specifies that the supplies are coming from within the wall, and into the back of the shower. With this option roughing-in at correct location is important.
Specifying this option provides an integral soap tank, factory pre-piped, and installed within the shower system. The liquid soap is piped to dispensers. Acme Showers are furnished with one 6 qt. tank per 6 to 8 stations, and Meter-Trol dispensers at each station. Apex Showers, when specified for 2 or 3 stations, have a 2 qt. tank, and a single station model is furnished with a 1 qt. tank. Meter-Trol dispensers are supplied for each soap station. Classic and Capital Showers are provided with an approximate 1 gal. capacity tank. The exact size is affected by shower supply configuration.
Use of this option provides a vandal and suicide resistant shower head with a conical shape. Spray pattern is a non-adjustable multi-stream style. Shape of head prevents use as a suicide device. Recommended for use with optional -PBH Hemispherical Pushbutton.
This surface-mounted soap dish is constructed of heavy gage, type 304 stainless steel. The body is designed with a drain hole to keep bar soap dry.
Selection of this option provides a durable, chip resistant color coat finish to the exterior of the fixture. See the Color Selection Sheet for standard colors; custom colors may be specified
This is the standard flow rate for Acorn Showers
Use of this option allows for a higher flow rate of 2.0 Gallons (7.58 Liters) per Minute versus the standard 1.6 Gallon (6 Liters) per Minute. This flow rate of 2.0 gallons will no longer be available for use in the state of California after July 2018.
This option will make the housing of the fixture constructed of fourteen gage material. Fourteen gage material is .078" thick. This option is typically for heavy duty fixtures which range from 16 to 18 gage.
In lieu of the conventional shower head, this option provides a hand shower with a 60" stainless steel hose and mounting bracket.
This specification provides for manual adjustment of spray volume. It does, however, prevent positive shutoff.
The suffix option provides a hex key control for the spray volume. This limits the adjustment to authorized personnel. This suffix option offers the same advantages as -H Hand Volume Control.
The Multi-Stream, Ball Joint Shower Nozzle is available on all Acorn Shower- Ware® systems. The spray pattern is created through a multiple orifice design and is bather adjustable to create a narrow stream or wide pattern. It is ideal in areas that are not prone to vandalism, such as hotels and athletic clubs where the user may desire a more luxuriant shower. Unit may be configured for standard Shower-Ware shower head or for Bent Arm applications -not shown; must specify.
In applications where vandalism is a primary concern, this shower head prevents the user from altering the spray or removing nozzle. Spray adjustment is made through the nozzle with a hex key. Specification of Penal Head prevents selection of additional shower head options.
Primarily specified for showers, this rugged stainless steel soap dish is recessed within the housing of the fixture. The bottom surface is lined with air-circulating dimples to keep bar soap dry.
This option provides a 24" slide bar for use with -Fx Hand Shower. Slide bar is shipped loose for wall mounting.
This cover is used with top supply showers to hide supply piping and give a finished look to a shower installation. All brackets and exposed fasteners are furnished, except fasteners for attaching cover to the building. Shown here on Capital Column.
This option specifies the bottom of the surface mounted shower fixture to be sloped. The slope is to be 30°.
This option specifies the top of the surface mounted shower fixture to be sloped. The slope is to be 30° for adequate drainage, and can not pull yourself or hide contraband on top of fixture.
This option is for the electronic valve system, namely Master-Trol and Time-Trol. The system is 24 VAC and this transformer is hardwired. Transformer is mounted to plate that fits junction box to cover connections.
This suffix option is ideal for renovation projects and is available on Apex Showers, except Corner-Mounted models. When remodeling, this option allows tiles that are covered by the shower to be relocated to repair other damaged areas.
When specifying an Acorn Commercial Shower, this option is appropriate when shower heads are to be provided by others. Acorn will only provide the control valve.
This suffix option permits movement of the shower head in all directions, allowing the bather to adjust the spray pattern as needed.
This modification of the standard shower head has a set screw to lock the head into desired positions. This serves to prevent water discharge into drying areas, aisles, and doorways, which is especially beneficial in group shower applications.
Specification of this suffix option will not allow the spray head to be manipulated from side to side, preventing flooding outside of tubs. In group shower applications, it prevents the spraying of adjacent bathers.
Like suffix option -YY, this specification allows the shower head to be set and locked into position along its vertical arc of movement.
