This option is available on Acorn security lavatories or combys. The options provides for a deck mounted spout. It is used in conjunction with an Air-Control™ valve or other electronic valve. The flow is rated at 0.50 gallons (1.89 liters) per minute.
This single temperature valve can be remotely located and is ideally suited for small chase areas. Air-Control™ features 0.5 GPM flow control intended for most lavy applications, indexed push button, stainless steel strainer and integral checkstop. Valve conforms with the lead-free requirements of NSF61, Section 9, 1997 and ADA requirements. Valve is non-metering unless specified with -M option
Valve assemblies can be manifolded to serve up to four fixtures from a single supply inlet. The valve assembly can be remotely located up to 10 feet away from the actuation pushbuttons. Two Single Temperature valves or two sets of Hot & Cold valves are manifolded. Option is available on Acorn Air-Control™ Valves or valves utilizing Master-Trol or Time-Trol.
Valve assemblies can be manifolded to serve up to four fixtures from a single supply inlet. The valve assembly can be remotely located up to 10 feet away from the actuation pushbuttons. Three Single Temperature valves or three sets of Hot & Cold valves are manifolded. Option is available on Acorn Air-Control™ Valves or valves utilizing Master-Trol or Time-Trol.

Why use Enviro-Glaze®?
Acorn Engineering Company has developed a color coating system which will allow you to purchase durable stainless steel fixtures in designer colors. Enviro-Glaze® is a superior finish which gives you a colorful and functional alternative to a stainless steel finish.
What is Enviro-Glaze®?
Enviro-Glaze® is a smooth or textured hard coating that endures impact, will not bubble, and is chip-resistant. The coating is an electrostatically sprayed powder that is applied to the outsideof the stainless steel fixture, then cured at a temperature in excess of 400°F. Vigorous inspectionduring every step of the production process ensures that the finish on every fixture meets Acorn’s high quality standards.
How should Enviro-Glaze® be cleaned and maintained?
Acorn’s Enviro-Glaze® finish creates a beautiful surface that is easily cleaned, maintained andkept in a sanitary condition. A solution of warm water and mild soap is all that is necessary forcleaning the unit.*
* Long exposure to ultra-violet rays of the sun may cause chalking; however, should this occur, use of a mild furniture wax will remove residue and restore the original luster.
This option is to have the trim installed at the Acorn Engineering factory. The trim includes pushbutton(s), Bubbler, Spout, etc. This option saves time on installation in the field.
With this option, the backsplash is extended to form an integral shelf. This provides additional space without creating areas where contraband can be concealed.
This option provides a through the wall extension for units which have an elbow waste connection. A P-trap is furnished which may also be used as a cleanout.
This option allows you to choose a desired length for the lavy waste.
This option provides a full size, 16 gage galvanized steel template to aid in the rough-in of fixtures. Only one template required per job.
This option provides lavatory or basin bowl with an overflow opening with connection to the waste outlet.
Use of this option provides a vandal resistant valve pushbutton. The conical shape is designed to prevent use as suicide device. When specified on lavatories or combys, the Hemispherical Penal Bubbler (-BPH) is also recommended.
This option provides pushbuttons that use push rods to activate valve. It requires less than five pounds to activate valve.
Although security fixtures are furnished standard with an elbow waste, a P-Trap can be specified for rear access fixtures. Front access fixtures are furnished standard with a removable P-trap.
This galvanized steel sleeve provides an opening in the wall for fixture mounting and becomes an integral part of the wall. The sleeve is typical useful in a rear mount/chase application.
This option is for the electronic valve system, namely Master-Trol and Time-Trol. The system is 24 VAC and this transformer is hardwired. Transformer is mounted to plate that fits junction box to cover connections.
This option provides unit housing with 12 gage (0.109") thick stainless steel in lieu of standard. This option is available only for Security Fixtures
This option provides an “auto-release” towel/clothss hook that is tested to hold a minimum of 20 lbs and will readily support the weight of towels or clothes, but will automatically release into a downward position at 40 lbs or greater. Towel hook is fabricated of type 304 stainless steel with exposed surfaces polished to a satin finish. Hook is 3/8” in diameter and 1-1/2" long.
Sister company Acorn Vac supplies means to evacuate plumbing waste through a vacuum system. The interface of atmospheric pressure at the toilet bowl and a constant vacuum pressure in the waste piping network provides a highly efficient flush, using only half gallon (1.89 liter) of water. When the push button is activated, the Extraction Valve opens, allowing atmospheric pressure to push toilet waste into the vacuum piping and toward the vacuum center. A water valve is simultaneously activated, allowing the toilet to be rinsed and refilled.
9VDC Programmable Piezo button(s) with 10’ foot connection leads are operated by touching piezo cap to activate solenoid valve. Button(s) have a default 8 second metered flow, but can be programed for additional time on site. Flow cycle can be stopped by touching the Piezo cap before the flow cycle ends. Button(s) are powered by 9VDC transformer or optional 6 AA battery pack (Batteries Not Included).
Option -BRS Brass Valve Body & checkstop assembly are pneumatically operated, pushbutton valves that use atmospheric air. The pushbutton is vandal-resistant and requires less than 5 pounds to activate valve. Valve can be remotely located up to 10 feet from the actuating button and is ideally suited for small chase areas. Air-Control valves are provided with a stainless steel strainer, a brass integral checkstop and conforms with the lead-free requirements of NSF61, Section 9, 1997; Federal Public Law 111-380 and ADA requirements. The -BRS Brass Valve Body option is also available with the 24V solenoid operated valves.
