When the wall surface is not adequate to support flange loadings for square-flanged shower heads, Acorn recommends using an Anchor Plate. It consists of a rust-resistant steel plate tapped to receive the flange mounting screws. Additional screws are provided to secure the Anchor Plate to the finished wall.
This option is used with square flanged shower heads. When this option is selected it provides backing for anchoring with front mount plate, all thread studs, nuts and washers provided. May only be used when installed on walls with an accessible pipe chase.
Bent Arm Shower Heads work well over bathtubs and are primarily specified for homes, apartments, hotels, and dormitories. These heads are not recommended for use in applications where vandalism is anticipated.
Use of this option provides a vandal and suicide resistant shower head with a conical shape. Spray pattern is a non-adjustable multi-stream style. Shape of head prevents use as a suicide device. Recommended for use with optional -PBH Hemispherical Pushbutton.
This surface-mounted soap dish is constructed of heavy gage, type 304 stainless steel. The body is designed with a drain hole to keep bar soap dry.
This option is only available for Zenith built-in 500 series showers. It provides a lever handle diverter valve and a hand shower with a 60" stainless steel hose and a mounting bracket.
This option is only available for Zenith built-in 500 series showers. It provides a diverter valve and a fixed shower head. When this option is specified, the shower nozzle options specified (i.e. -H, -Y, -ZZ, etc.) will be applied to both the standard and the secondary shower head.
This option provides a male and female stainless steel quick disconnect coupler assembly to allow for easy removal of the hand shower.
Use of this option allows for a higher flow rate of 2.0 Gallons (7.58 Liters) per Minute versus the standard 1.6 Gallon (6 Liters) per Minute. This flow rate of 2.0 gallons will no longer be available for use in the state of California after July 2018.
This specification provides for manual adjustment of spray volume. It does, however, prevent positive shutoff.
Provides for two mounting locations, one high and one low, for the handshower. The mounting clips are provided at approximately 48" and 60" above finished floor.
The suffix option provides a hex key control for the spray volume. This limits the adjustment to authorized personnel. This suffix option offers the same advantages as -H Hand Volume Control.
The Multi-Stream, Ball Joint Shower Nozzle is available on all Acorn Shower- Ware® systems. The spray pattern is created through a multiple orifice design and is bather adjustable to create a narrow stream or wide pattern. It is ideal in areas that are not prone to vandalism, such as hotels and athletic clubs where the user may desire a more luxuriant shower. Unit may be configured for standard Shower-Ware shower head or for Bent Arm applications -not shown; must specify.
In applications where vandalism is a primary concern, this shower head prevents the user from altering the spray or removing nozzle. Spray adjustment is made through the nozzle with a hex key. Specification of Penal Head prevents selection of additional shower head options.
Primarily specified for showers, this rugged stainless steel soap dish is recessed within the housing of the fixture. The bottom surface is lined with air-circulating dimples to keep bar soap dry.
This option provides a 24" slide bar for use with -Fx Hand Shower. Slide bar is shipped loose for wall mounting.
This option is for the electronic valve system, namely Master-Trol and Time-Trol. The system is 24 VAC and this transformer is hardwired. Transformer is mounted to plate that fits junction box to cover connections.
When specifying an Acorn Commercial Shower, this option is appropriate when shower heads are to be provided by others. Acorn will only provide the control valve.
This suffix option permits movement of the shower head in all directions, allowing the bather to adjust the spray pattern as needed.
This modification of the standard shower head has a set screw to lock the head into desired positions. This serves to prevent water discharge into drying areas, aisles, and doorways, which is especially beneficial in group shower applications.
Specification of this suffix option will not allow the spray head to be manipulated from side to side, preventing flooding outside of tubs. In group shower applications, it prevents the spraying of adjacent bathers.
Like suffix option -YY, this specification allows the shower head to be set and locked into position along its vertical arc of movement.
