Time-Trol® Plus Retrofit Flush Valve Kit - Battery Powered

The Time-Trol® Plus System retrofits existing fixtures to maximize water savings while delivering enhanced control. Important: Verify existing Toilet fixture is compatible with high-efficiency 1.28 GPF Flush Valve flow rate. Acorn Engineering Toilet fixtures require a 2-3/8" OD P-trap Waste.

Modular Valve Controller provides an Acorn Time-Trol® Plus System for limiting frequency of Flush Valve operation through precise electronic control of a Solenoid Flush Valve. Duration of lock-out timer includes eleven settings between 15 seconds and 90 minutes. System is intended where an accessible rear chase exists.

Flush Valve Kits for Toilet or Lav-Toilet Combination include: MVCFV-BAT Time-trol® Plus Controller, 9V Solenoid Valve interface, 1.28 GPF Hydraulic Flush Valve, Through-wall Pushbutton Actuator with Wall Plate (Up to 12” Wall), Wiring and Tubing. Flush valve model provided for Toilet: Sloan 9611 Series. Combination: Sloan 9603 Series.

EZ-MVCFV-Kit
is intended for use with an existing Hydraulic Flush Valve (provided by others) and includes: MVCFV-BAT Time-trol® Plus Controller, 9V Solenoid Valve interface with Stainless Steel Strainer and Integral Checkstop, Through-wall Pushbutton Actuator with Wall Plate (Up to 12” Wall), Wiring and Tubing.

9 Volt Battery-Powered Time-Trol Plus Controller has a plastic housing with a compartment for a rectangular 9 Volt Battery. The battery shall be supplied by others. Factory tests have provided over 90,000 operation cycles with a standard alkaline battery. Controller rotating Adjustment Knob selects valve metering length. The Pneumatic Actuator Tube easily attaches to the Modular Valve Controller, 10 foot Tube length is provided standard. The controller is to be located within 10 feet of the activating pushbutton. The Controller is supplied with 3 feet of wiring for connection to the solenoid control valve. Should the installer increase the length of 14 ga wiring, battery cycle life will decrease approximately 5% for every additional 10 feet.

Status indicator lights are included with Controller for instant visual status feedback, simplifying operation and diagnostics. Pressing either the fixture pushbutton or the Controller STATUS/SET button will display one of the following conditions:

• 1 Flash = Normal Status
• 2 Flashes = Lockout Active
• 4 Flashes = Lockout Confirmed
• 5 Flashes = Valve Time Set To Off
• 6 Flashes = Start-Up Initialization

Through-wall Pneumatic Pushbutton Actuator requires less than 5 pounds of force to activate the Flush Valve and lockout timer cycle. Pushbutton assembly is secured in the rear chase (Up to 12” Wall) and includes a type 304 stainless steel Wall Plate with #4 satin finish with an Anti-rotation Pin.

9 Volt Solenoid Valve enables Hydraulic Flush Valve to interface with Time-trol® Plus Controller and includes corrosion-resistant components. The valve body is manufactured from Noryl® thermoplastic resin.
