Ligature-Resistant Corterra® Solid Surface Compact Lavatory with Oval Bowl

Secur-Care® Ligature Resistant Fixture is arranged for installation on a finished wall and service from a fully accessible rear pipe chase. The Compact Solid Surface Basin is designed to foster a peaceful, normative environment, combining a sleek, stylish appearance with enhanced safety. Its Universal Design provides ligature resistance with space savings while combining vandal resistance within detention settings.

The lavatory is constructed of Corterra® Solid Surface Polymer Resin, which is GREENGUARD® Gold certified and conforms with ANSI Z124.3, ANSI Z124.6, and ANSI/ICPA SS-1 for durability, chemical resistance, and impact performance. 

Corterra® Solid Surface Material Testing: When tested in accordance with ASTM E84-21a, achieved a Flame Spread Index of 0 and a Smoke Developed Index of 20, meeting the requirements for a Class A interior finish material classification (Flame Spread Index 0-25; Smoke Developed Index ≤450) under the International Building Code (IBC) and NFPA 101 Life Safety Code.  Refer to the Corterra® Technical Data Sheet for additional performance characteristics.

Oval Contoured Bowl is 6" deep and includes Dual Utility Shelves. Color furnished is Blanco Gloss OCC11 (White). Backsplash includes drilling for Faucet and Spout options.

Ligature-Resistant Faucet is provided for Single-Temperature or Hot and Cold supplies and includes pneumatically operated Air-control Valve with Backsplash, mounted Ligature-Resistant Through-Wall Pushbuttons and Conical Spout. Spout Body is chrome-plated brass and includes a multi-stream, non-aerated 
Spray with a 0.35 GPM vandal-resistant flow Nozzle. ASSE 1070 Thermostatic Mixing Valve is optionally available for chase mounting. Specify required Valve model and options.

Ligature-Resistant Stainless Steel Grid Strainer is provided with 1-1/4” OD Elbow Waste connection stubbed out 5-1/2” beyond back of fixture for connection within plumbing chase.

Regularly furnished items include 1/2” UNC heavy-duty Mounting Hardware for walls up to 8" thick.
