Option: Remote Electronic Flush Valve Pushbutton

Electronic Flush Valve styles only. Intended for use with a Lav-Toilet Combination or Toilet Fixture to allow remote actuation of the Toilet Flush Valve by Staff. No Flush Control shall be accessible to the Cell Occupant. Remote Pushbutton Control prevents the flushing of evidence or contraband and reduces the potential for intentional clogging of the Toilet Fixture to create a flood condition.

Installation is intended within the wall outside of Holding Cell and requires appropriate conduit (by others) to connect Pushbutton Air-line Tubing or Wiring to the Electronic Valve Control Module.  The Remote Pushbutton must be within 50 feet of the Electronic Valve Controller. The MVCFV, MTPFV, or EVSFV Electronic Control Module (typically installed within a Plumbing Chase, at or near the Toilet Fixture) must be within 50 feet of the Solenoid Flush Valve. To ensure proper operation, the 24VAC Solenoid Flush Valve must be installed at the Toilet fixture per the Manufacturer's recommendations.

Lav-Toilet Combination Fixture must be specified with the optional -LPFV (Less Punching for Flush Valve). Dual flush is not offered; Staff will have sole responsibility for flushing the Toilet fixture.

Remote Pushbutton Assembly consists of a 5” square 14 gauge Type 304 Stainless Steel Plate with exposed surfaces polished to a #4 Satin Finish. The Plate includes vandal-resistant stainless steel Fasteners. In-Wall Box assembly includes the Mounting tabs and is fabricated of 18-gauge galvanized steel.
