Option: Tempered Glass
This option provides a 1/4" thick tempered glass mirror in lieu of stainless steel and includes a 1/4" thick fiberboard backing. Tempered glass has about four times the strength of glass and if broken will crumble into small harmless crystals. The surface is highly scratch resistant; however, the reflective qualities are subject to imperfections due to the tempering process.
